A challenging site resulted in a somewhat-complex engineered foundation that was constructed with a wide stepped footer, CMU block stem wall with lots of rebar, and a slab resting on nearly 6’ of compacted gravel. LP SmartSide lap siding was painted to match the original cedar lap siding on the house, and we were able to match the shingles to a recent re-roof on the main house.
